IBM Senior Manager, Dr. Sandra. K. Johnson, Keynote Speaker At NABGG 2004 Conference - Austin, Texas Sept. 16, 2004
September 9, 2004 -- IBM Senior Manager, the Honorable Dr. Sandra K. Johnson will give the opening address at the NABGG 2004 Morning Technology Session that will be held on September 16, 2004 at the University of Texas - Thompson Conference Center, Austin Texas.
Dr. Sandra K. Johnson, a Linux Performance Architect from IBM, earned her BS (Summa Cum Laude) from Southern University, her MS from Stanford University and her Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from Rice University. She is a Senior Technical Staff Member at the Linux Performance Architect with the IBM LinuxTechnology Center, Austin, Texas, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Computing Research Association and the Coalition to Diversify Computing. In 2002, Dr. Johnson became the first Black woman elected to the IBM Academy of Technology.
