Sydney and her sister, Heather, the two blonde Nancy Drew spy characters in soon to be released, NO GREATER DECEPTION, will introduce the new book at the Leadership Texas Athenium Conference in Austin, Texas Oct. 17-19. Leadership Texas is made up of professional women who are at the top of their field. Governor Ann Richards was one of its founders. This year Lucy Baines Johnson will be the keynote speaker. Liz Carpenter who was Lady Bird Johnson's White House Press Secretary, and Sarah Weddington, known as the Roe vs. Wade attorney, will also speak.

"NO GREATER DECEPTION is dedicated to many of these ladies who insisted I write a book and share this true story with the world," says Sydney. "At first it was hard for me to talk to these ladies about our family dilemma, remarks Heather. "It wasn't easy for me to talk about my father's death or tell them about my stepmother. But these ladies are my dearest friends and they are very perceptive. They could sense something was wrong."
